Abstract: Throughout the history, construction has been one of the most dangerous industry to work on it, many people die every day in construction buildings, especially in developed countries and one the main issue of developed countries is health of worker and safety of workplace. A safety control consists of all steps necessary to protect workers from exposure to a substance or system, the training and the procedures required to monitor worker exposure and their health to hazards such as chemicals, materials or substance, or other types of hazards such as noise and vibration. Researcher stress that one of the worst parts of KRG construction industry is safety management system. Generally, KRG’s sites are unsafe and workers are likely to get many health-related problems. The majority of projects are suffer from safety issues, to give a clear example, there is not any regulation regarding to safety in any projects, it is very rare to see labors wear PPE, most of the projects do not have safety representative or safety officer, professional people who expert in safety are very rare in KRG, stairs are not guarded, opens are not covered, excavations are not secured, roofs’ edges are not guarded…. There so many other issues related to safety in KRG. Thus, use of effective planning and control techniques to prevent them can have a significant human, social, and financial impact.
