Dr Samir Mustafa Hamad is a Professor of Materials Science at Soran University. He received his BSc in Physics in 1998 at College of Education, Salahaddin University-Erbil. Then He got an MSc in nuclear physics in 2003 at Collage of Science, Salahaddin University-Erbil. After that, he did another MSc degree and then PhD degree in 2014 in Nanotechnology and material Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR)-USA. He started his works as a lecturer and researcher in Soran University-Scientific Research Centre since 2015 and now He is the head of Scientific Research Center. Dr Samir’s research area includes synthesis of Nitride and Oxide nanomaterials and device fabrication. Dr Samir established a strong group with Dr Azeez Barzinjy and they are working on the green synthesis nanoparticles and their potential applications. Right now, he is supervising several MSc and PhD student and he has published many highly impact researches with his co-workers. Dr Samir participated in many international and local workshops, conference and symposiums.
