About the Conference
Tishk International University’s Faculty of Education is organizing the 13th National Young Researchers Conference (NAYREC-2026) as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting academic growth and innovation.
NAYREC-2026 is designed to strengthen participants’ teaching, research, communication, and presentation skills. Participation in the conference is mandatory for education students, encouraging active engagement in their professional development. Through this experience, students become more dynamic learners and future educators, increasing their readiness for successful teaching careers and broader opportunities in the field of education.

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Pashew M Nuri
Dr. Pashew Nuri, PhD, is a researcher and lecturer at Cihan University – Sulaimaniya, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. His research investigates the complex intersections of education policy, education leadership, and teachers’ lives. He holds a Master of Education from the University of Cincinnati as a Fulbright Scholar and a PhD in Education Policy and Leadership from Monash University, Australia. Dr. Nuri engages with Critical Policy Sociology within post-conflict and non-Western contexts. He is currently focused on navigating the tensions within research methodologies, exploring how integrating non-Western perspectives can contribute to a more contextualized understanding of global education policy and educational practices.
