Abstract
This study focuses on analyzing the role of the Mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco in promoting administrative governance and protecting human rights. Through reviewing the historical context of the mediation function, analyzing its legal and institutional framework, and examining the manifestations of its interventions, the study demonstrates that the institution plays a pivotal role in consolidating the principles of good governance and protecting human rights in Morocco. This is achieved by providing an effective mechanism for resolving disputes between the administration and citizens, and issuing recommendations that contribute to improving administrative performance and the quality of services provided to users.
The study indicates that the effectiveness of the role of the Kingdom Mediator institution requires overcoming certain challenges, most notably the issue of weak implementation of its recommendations by public administrations. This requires concerted efforts by all stakeholders to strengthen a culture of compliance with the law and the institution’s recommendations, and to consolidate its active role in establishing good governance and protecting human rights in Morocco.
