‪Eberhard MalkowskyProfessor of Mathematics, State University of Novi Pazar, Serbia

Eberhard Malkowsky is a retired Full Professor of Mathematics. He obtained his Ph.D. degree and
habilitation at the Department of Mathematics of the Justus-Liebig Universität Giessen in Germany
in 1982 and 1988, respectively; the titles of his theses were Toeplitz-Kriterien für Matrizenklassen
bei Räumen absolut und stark limitierbarer Folgen, and Matrix Transformations in a New Class of
Sequence Spaces that Includes Spaces of Absolutely and Strongly Summable Sequences. He was a
visiting professor at several universities in the US, Hungary, Serbia, India and Iran. Furthermore,
he participated as an invited or keynote speaker in numerous international scientific conferences
and congresses. He is a member of the editorial boards of ten journals of international repute. His
list of publications contains some 170 research papers in international journals. He is the author or
co-author of eight books and monographs, and the editor or co-editor of six proceedings of
international conferences. He supervised 6 Ph.D. theses and a great number of B.Sc. and M.Sc
theses in mathematics. His interests include functional analysis, summability, matrix transformations, measures of noncompactness and operator theory.

Rainer W. BussmannProfessor of Biology, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Bussmann earned his M.Sc. (Diploma) in Biology at Universität Tübingen, in 1993 and his doctorate at Universität Bayreuth in 1994. He is an ethnobotanist and vegetation ecologist, and currently Head and Full Professor at the Department of Ethnobotany, Institute of Botany, Ilia State University, both of which he co-founded. Before moving to Georgia, Dr. Bussmann was director of William L. Brown Center at Missouri Botanical Garden, William L. Brown Curator of Economic Botany, and Senior Curator. Before accepting the directorship of WLBC, he held academic appointments as Research Fellow in Geography and the Environment at University of Texas at Austin from 2006 to 2007, as Associate Professor of Botany and Scientific Director of Harold Lyon Arboretum at University of Hawaii from 2003 to 2006, and as Assistant Professor at University of Bayreuth from 1997 to 2003, following a postdoc at the same institution from 1994 to 1997. He holds affiliate appointments and serves as external thesis advisor at universities worldwide. His work focuses on ethnobotanical research, and the preservation of traditional knowledge, in the Andes, Caucasus, and the Himalayas. Dr. Bussmann has authored over 300 peer reviewed papers, over 1200 peer reviewed book chapters, and authored or edited 38 books. According to Stanford University, he is one of the most cited ethnobotanists and recognized among the 2% most influential scientists worldwide.

Dr. Bussmann is past President of the Society for Economic Botany and has served as board/council member of the International Society for Ethnopharmacology, Society of Ethnobiology, Botanical Society of America, and International Society of Ethnobiology.

Azeez Abdullah BarzinjyAssociate Professor of Physics, Salahaddin University, Erbil, KRG, Iraq

Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy: was born in Erbil-Iraq. He received his BSc. (Physics) and M.Sc. (Superconducting transmission line) from the University of Salahaddin-Erbil in 1998 and 2004, respectively. He completed his PhD (Materials Science) at the Materials Science centre, University of Leicester/UK in 2014. He is currently Associated Professor teaching in Salahaddin University and Tishk International University in Iraq. He participated in many international and local conferences as a keynote speaker and he published many highly impact scientific articles. His current research interests include Green Synthesis of Nanoparticles, metal electroplating from novel ionic liquids and investigating their properties, solar selective coating, surface plasmon resonance and nanotechnology. He is currently supervising several master and PhD students in different universities.
He Organized 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Nanotechnology workshop from 2017-2020 with his colleague at Tishk International University. Erbil, Iraq.
He participated in several international and local conferences as a keynote speaker, scientific committee, international advisory board, organization committee and presenter.

Habiba Al Mar’ashiChairperson of Emirates Environmental Group, UAE

Habiba Hassan Sultan Al Mar’ashi is the Co-founder and Chairperson of Emirates Environmental Group (EEG). It is a pioneering non-government organisation established in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 1991. She single handedly established the Arabia CSR Network in 2004, as the MENA region’s pioneering and only multi-stakeholder platform with local and multi-national entities. She guided EEG to become the first environmental NGO in the world to receive ISO 14001 certification. She co-founded the Emirates Green Building Council in 2006 and serves as its Treasurer and Board Member. Mrs. Al Mar’ashi has been actively associated in leadership roles in global bodies such as UN Global Compact (board member) and President of the UNGC – GCC States, UNEP (civil society representative), a member of Global Reporting Initiative Stakeholder Council (GRI), and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification Advisory Board for the Middle East. She is currently a Vice Chair of the Global Urban Development and Patronage Committee member of myclimate. In 2019 she was selected to come on board as a member of a high level Global Investors for Sustainable Development (GISD) Alliance at the invitation of the UN Secretary-General. In July 2021 she was chosen to serve as a Director of the World Green Building Council (WGBC). Mrs. Al Mar’ashi also serves as a member of advisory Boards for several Academic Institutions and other boards that deal with Sustainability in the Region and Globally.

Trained at the University of Pisa, Italy, Prof. Andrea Pieroni earned his PhD in Medical Botany from the University of Bonn in Germany. He has worked as a research assistant at the University of London (2000-2003) and as a tenured lecturer and, later, senior lecturer of Pharmacognosy at the University of Bradford (UK, 2003-2009); from 2009 he was hired as professor of Ethnobotany at the University of Pollenzo (Italy), where he has been Chancellor from 2017 to 2021.
He is a visiting research fellow at Tishk International University from 2020. Professor Pieroni has served as President of the International Society of Ethnobiology (2010) and he is the founder and Chief Editor of the Journal of Ethnobiology and Ethnomedicine (Springer Nature, IF 2.7).
