Abstract
Due to the importance of the quality of training materials in driver education, there is a need to evaluate the effectiveness of their reception. Good quality materials can increase the safety of drivers and others on the road. Eyetracker was used to test the effectiveness of the reception of digital training materials. It investigated how the materials are read by the audience, and which elements and their layout (graphics, text, video, animation and speech) are most effective in the learning process. Learning outcomes were tested using the materials presented earlier. A pilot study was conducted on 5 people. On the basis of the obtained results, heat maps and gaze paths of the respondents were created, specifying which elements attracted their attention and how the materials were read. Analysis of the results showed that the most effective form of teaching was a combination of video or animation with voice commentary.
