Abstract
The goal of this study was to see how innovative behaviour affected emotional intelligence among general managers of construction enterprises in Lima, Peru, during the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. The data was analyzed using PLS-SEM and a quantitative methodological approach with a correlational-explanatory scope. 158 general managers of construction enterprises in Lima, Peru were found. It was discovered that innovative conduct had a favourable and significant impact on emotional intelligence, with the model accounting for 15.7 % of the variance. This study was the first to measure these characteristics in a developing country and in the construction industry during a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. The findings will aid in a better understanding of the interrelationships between the variables.
