Prof. dr hab. inż. Kesra Nermend

professor of the University of Szczecin, Poland. Dr. habil. of Economic Science in the scope of Economics (specialization economical informatics). He teaches “Group work”, Project Management, Management of IT security in organizations, Computer Graphics to the students of Informatics and Econometrics course. To march 2018, prof K Nermend has published above 130 publications (including monograph published by SPRINGER and articles in journals from the Philadelphia list), mainly in the area of using quantitative methods and tools for the analysis of economic phenomena and supporting decisions. He is the President of Center of Knowledge and Technology Transfer at University of Szczecin, Head of the Department of Computer Methods in Experimental Economy in Institute of IT in Management in The Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Szczecin. Chair of Organization Committees and member of Programme Committees of two scientific conferences: „INFOGRYF. The role of computer science in regional development”, “Efficiency in business” and “Congress of Young IT Scientists”. Member of the board of Polish Information Processing Society, West-Pomeranian branch; member of the board of Scientific Society of Organization and Management, West-Pomeranian branch; member of Polish Association For Knowledge Management; member of Section of Classification and Data Analysis at Polish Statistical Association and West Pomeranian Information Society Council.
