Dr. Luqman Rahman is a highly qualified and experienced Medical Oncologist with an impressive academic background. He graduated from a medical college in 1999 and was ranked first among the top ten graduates. He completed his internship and then pursued a Master’s degree with distinction in Clinical Oncology from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom. He further specialized in Medical Oncology with two years of training at City Hospital in the UK.
\nDr. Luqman went on to establish a specialized Medical Oncology unit for treating adult solid tumors at Nanakaly Hospital in Erbil city. He served as the head of the unit until January 2009, when he embarked on his MD PhD program in Cancer at Cancer Centrum in Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He successfully completed his doctoral degree in January 2013, during which he was appointed as the representative of all PhD students for the oncology tumor board.
\nDr. Luqman has made significant contributions to the field of cancer research and has published numerous original research articles in renowned international journals. Currently, he is working as a Consultant Oncologist at Nanakaly Hospital for Blood Diseases and Oncology, and also holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the College of Medicine, Hawler Medical University.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Dr. Bimlesh Kumar is currently working as a Professor, Discipline of Pharmacology, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. He has completed his Master and PhD from Rajiv Gandhi Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and Lovely professional University, Punjab respectively. He got an opportunity for his industrial training in Biocon Limited, Bangalore after a campus placement interview. He has also qualified for PGET 2006 of RGUHS with a 94 rank.<\/p>\n

He has 15 years of teaching and research experience. He has additional responsibilities of Member Secretary, IAEC, (2011 till date), Member of DMC (2012 to 2017), Coordinator of MDMC (MvPI) at (17th July 2020 till date), Coordinator of AMC (PvPI) (23rd August 2021 till date) and Member of IBC (2021 onwards).<\/p>\n

He has guided 38 M Pharm projects and 7 PhD research scholars are under his supervision to complete their Ph.D.\u00a0 He has published more than 100 research papers and contributed for 6 book chapters. He has a 15 h-index (Scopus) in his credit with 553 citations to date. His research interests encompass the pharmacological screening of herbal, semisynthetic, and synthetic drugs in animal models for various diseases like Gastrointestinal disorders, Diabetes, Neuropathic pain, Colon cancer, and cognitive impairment-related disorders. He has also completed one consultancy project of Bhaskar herbaceutical, Nepal. He has 2 patent grant in his credit. He was organizing secretary for 5 conferences and 17 workshops\/seminars at Lovely Professional University. He was resource person\/speaker in many conferences and workshops.<\/p>\n

He is a member of various highly recognized professional national and international societies like the Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (<\/em>IPA), Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER), and Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA).<\/p>\n

He is the recipient of the Young researcher award of Lovely Professional University for 5 consecutive years. He is also the recipient of the Young teacher award by the Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER). Recently in 2021, he received a teacher appreciation award for best teaching.<\/p>\n

PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawharlal National Technological University, Hyderabad. He has 17 years working experience in academics and administration in different institutions and Universities. He has guided and co-guidance 14 M. Pharm students and currently guiding 4 M. Pharm students, delivered a guest lecture in CSIR-SRTP2020 on topic \u201cExtraction and Isolation of Phytoconstituents\u201d and guided 9 interdisciplinary projects, filed 2 Process patents and 3 design patents, involved in 2 business incubator programs at IIT-Roorkee and DIT University, organized 3 National Faculty Development Program.
