However, the policy of confronting corruption is not limited to countries only, because it is a phenomenon that is created within the facilities and administrative bodies that take care of the affairs of society, leaving behind its adverse repercussions among its different sectors. On this basis, the state&#8217;s awareness was about the involvement of civil society organizations in their national strategy to confront and combat these Serious phenomenon.<br \/>\nIn this regard, several countries, including Algeria, have emphasized the principle of the participation of civil society in tackling corruption crimes, and the establishment of methods of exercising this role in their legislation for the prevention and control of these crimes. Algeria issued Law No. 06\/01 of 20 February 2006 on Against corruption, which provided for a range of preventive and punitive measures and measures in line with the United Nations Convention against Corruption. This study aims to highlight the importance of the participation of civil society in the prevention and combating of corruption crimes, in view of its complementary role to the governmental role in this regard by defining the legal framework for its participation in addressing corruption crimes and the mechanisms used in this field.
