Abstract:  Everyone has an independent financial obligation.
Since the husband and wife share in the preparation of household supplies and the raising of children, so it may lead that to occur some problems in the financial obligation for one of them.
İn this study have been touched on the statement of the most important things that are shared between the husband and wife in the marital home and specifically the financial dues of the wife because it is often to be oppressed when she shares with her husband of her own money in the establishment of the marital home, which is the rights of her husband,
In addition, in this study have been compared between the financial obligation of the wife according to the Iraqi personal status law in Article 91 that releated with inheritance of wife and the correction on law that making by the Kurdistan Regional Government .
As well as in this research, a comparison was made between the wife’s share of inheritance in Iraqi law with the applicable law in the European countries, it is French law
