Abstract:The matter of confession has a great importance in law, because it is a pillar in discovering and clarifying the accusation. This subject has been chosen for two main reasons. First, the main task of the researcher is doing justice, and this subject is directly related to justice. Second, the researcher feels very grieved at his heart. During the time of the Ba’ath Regime, innocent people were arrested collectively and were assigned baseless confessions.
In this study, we have followed the descriptive, analytical, comparative method, because it is quite suitable for this subject. This study consists of article, introduction, findings, and a list of references. The first article deals with the concept of confession and its historical advancement.
The second article deals with the type, form, and conditions of confession.
Following these issues, the findings, which the researcher has come to throughout this study, have been recorded. Finally, a list of references and an abstract in Kurdish language have been presented.
