IEC2020 conference organizing committee held its regular meeting on Thursday 16.01.2020. Dr. Nageb Toma, Vice president of Erbil Polytechnic University held meeting in the presence of organizing committee members and track chairs.<\/p>\n
Dr. Abubakar M. Ashir, chair of IEC2020 introduced the members of the committee and track chairs. In the meeting the dates of paper submission, deadline of payment were discussed. Committee also decided on setting fee amount for the papers that will be published in IEEE Xplore digital library. The committee decided to publish papers that are not suitable for IEEE Xplore digital library in an online proceeding with DOI number. In the meeting many topics were discussed especially steps that must be take care during preparing for the next conference.<\/p>\n
The committee also set a fixed date in the upcoming weeks prior of the conference to make the meeting in a regular manner. The committee also mentioned the importance of Scopus indexed papers to the local researchers. And importance of IEEE in promoting the research in the region.<\/p>\n
