Under supervision of the Prime Minister of the republic of Egypt and with the coordination of Egypt Central Statistics Organization, the 7th scientific conference of the Arab Statisticians\u2019 Union was held on 8-9\/3\/2023 in Cairo With the participation of the head of the Arab statisticians\u2019 union, the secretary general of the Arab Statisticians\u2019 union and the head of the scientific union of statisticians of Iraq and 77 Arab researchers in statistical field and 2 researchers from KRSO two participated with 2 papers.<\/p>\n

Under the slogan ” No development without Statistics”, the first day of the conference started with a dialogue and discussion about the statistical researches, where it focused on the role of statistical researches in strategic development. On the second day, the innovators’ rewards were given to the people who work in statistical institutions. At the end of this conference, the challenges and obstacles were pointed out and the recommendations were approved. \u00a0It was suggested that the next conference of the of Arab Statisticians\u2019 Union to be held in the capital of the Kurdistan region\/ Erbil in 2025.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/section>\n
