This paper delves into Iraq\u2019s progress in fostering enduring economic growth, securing meaningful employment, and ensuring dignified work for its population. The main objectives of this paper are to explore and assess Iraq\u2019s performance in achieving SDG Goal 8 indicators related to economic growth, employment, and decent work; secondly, to analyze the trends, to identify the key challenges and opportunities, and to provide recommendations for policymakers, stakeholders, and international partners to support Iraq\u2019s effort in promoting inclusive growth and decent work. Extracting the data from 2014 to 2024 sourced from the International Labour Organization, the researchers dissected the pivotal indicators, such as output for worker growth rates, informal employment prevalence, unemployment levels, and youth engagement in education and the labor force. Adopting a comprehensive research framework encompassing quantitative analysis and qualitative insights, the researchers analyzed trends and patterns to resolve Iraq\u2019s journey towards SDG8.
